World Cup Outreach in The Hudson Valley

During this year’s World Cup, we are exploring a collaborative outreach effort that brings churches, ministries, and community leaders together to leverage the global excitement around soccer to reach our communities with the message of Jesus Christ.

The heart behind this initiative is simple and rooted in Scripture:

All Nations. One Gospel.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

The World Cup quite literally brings the nations together, and we believe this is a God-given opportunity to gather people from all backgrounds, clearly proclaim the Gospel, and intentionally connect them into Christian community and discipleship.

Practically, this could include a variety of events across the Hudson Valley such as:

• One-day soccer clinics
• Mini tournaments
• World Cup watch parties
• Other community-based gatherings centered around the World Cup

Each event would be Gospel-forward, welcoming, and designed to create pathways into local churches and ministries. This is not about promoting any one church or organization, but about the Body of Christ working together for the good of the Kingdom.
